Protagoniste le collezioni autunno inverno 2016-2017
Mentre siamo nel pieno della New York Fashion Week, eccoci a scoprire la prossima delle settimane della moda in programma per questo febbraio 2016, quella di Londra.
Il fashion system sbarcherà nella capitale inglese il prossimo venerdì. La London Fashion Week è infatti in calendario dal 19 al 23 febbraio 2016 e si confermano essere protagoniste le collezioni moda donna per l’autunno inverno 2016-2017.
Come di consueto a Londra andranno in scena big della moda made in England da Burberry a Mulberry passando per Pringle of Scotland, Vivienne Westwood e Paul Smith a giovani e talentuosi designer come J. W. Anderson, Mary Katrnazou, Barbara Casasola, Peter Pilotto e Christopher Kane.
Per la prima volta poi Sarah Burton porta alla London Fashion Week l’attesissima sfilata di Alexander McQueen, rubandola al calendario di Parigi.
Confermata l’attitudine per gli stilisti emergenti; non mancherà anche in questa edizione di London Fashion Week la ormai tradizionale sfilata degli studenti della Central Saint Martins, prestigiosa scuola di moda.
E se per prima la London Fashion Week ha promosso la trasmissione delle sfilate online, una possibilità che dal 2010 viene offerta a tutti gli stilisti che vi partecipano, ecco che il Bfc-British Fashion Council, organismo che la coordina, per quest’anno ha pensato a una piccola rivoluzione.
In partnership con la media company Ocean Outdoor, la London Fashion Week renderà accessibili le sfilate a oltre 35 milioni di consumatori nel Regno Unito grazie alla dislocazione di 60 maxi schermi destinati allo streaming delle passerelle in programma e distribuiti tra Birmingham, Bristol, Edimburgo, Glasgow, Leeds, Liverpool, Manchester e Newcastle oltre che a Londra in location come Canary Wharf e Holland Park.
Un’opportunità unica, soprattutto per i brand emergenti di farsi conoscere dal consumatore finale e il primo importate verso il nuovo modo di intendere le settimane della moda.
Ricordiamo ad esempio che a patire dal prossimo settembre proprio da Londra, Burberry introdurrà la sua nuova filosofia di show.
