In testa Lincoln di Spielberg
L’inizio dell’anno per gli appassionati di cinema significa Golden Globe, le statuette assegnate dalla Hollywood Foreign Press, la stampa straniera con sede a Los Angeles, al cinema e alla televisione statunitense, considerati l’anticamera degli Oscar.
Sono state svelate le nomination della 70esima edizione della kermesse, in programma nella città californiana il prossimo 13 gennaio con Tina Fey e Amy Pohler sul palco a far gli onori di casa.
“Lincoln” di Steven Spielberg è il film col maggior numero di candidature: sette.
Il biopic sul Presidente della Guerra Civile, è seguito da “Django Unchained” di Quentin Tarantino e “Argo” di Ben Affleck con 5 candidature ciascuno.
Tra i migliori film candidati, tra drammatici e commedie, anche “Vita di Pi” di Ang Lee, “Les Miserables” di Tom Hooper e “Operazione Zero Dark Thirty” di Bigelow, “Silver Linings”, “Moonrise Kingdom” di Wes Anderson, “Marigold Hotel” e “Il pescatore di sogni”, un piccolo film britannico indipendente con Ewan McGregor e Emily Blunt, vera sorpresa tra le nomination.
Tra gli attori drammatici, si contenderanno il prestigioso riconoscimento, Day-Lewis nei panni del presidente Lincoln, Richard Gere per la sua interpretazione di “Arbitrage”, John Hawkes per “The Sessions”, Joaquin Phoenix di “The Master” e il pilota con problemi d’alcol Denzel Washington in “The Flight”.
Sul fronte femminile, ecco la nomination dell’agente Cia Jessica Chastain di “Zero Dark Thirty”, Marion Cotillard in “Un sapore di ruggine e ossa”, Helen Mirren, moglie di Hicthcock sul grande schermo, Naomi Watts alle prese con lo tsunami in “The Impossible” e Rachel Weisz in “The Deep Blue Sea”.
Quanto alle interpretazioni da commedie o musical, vedono in competizione Emily Blunt, Judi Dench, Jennifer Lawrence e Meryl Streep.
Tra gli ometti, Jack Black, Bradley Cooper, Hugh Jackman, Bill Murray ed Ewan McGregor.
Downton Abbey e Homeland dominano per quanto riguarda invece il piccolo schermo.
