Trionfa Beyoncé. I vincitori si sapranno il 28 agosto
MTV ha presentato in diretta Facebook da New York le nomination degli MTV Video Music Awards 2016.
Leggendo la lista si capisce fin da subito che la regina indiscussa, il prossimo 28 agosto al Madison Square Garden di New York sarà Beyoncé. Sono infatti ben 11 le categorie in cui la cantante ha conquistato una o più nomination.
Ma andiamo con ordine. Dopo aver debuttato proprio a New York nel 1984, dopo anni a Los Angeles, per l’edizione 2016 gli MTV Video Music Awards torneranno nella Grande Mela e per la prima volta varcheranno il tempio del Madison Square Garden. Lo show, in programma per il 28 agosto, sarà trasmesso in esclusiva su MTV e nei prossimi giorni saranno resi noti ospiti, presentatori e performer che renderanno la serata ancor più speciale.
Se Beyoncé fa il pieno di nomination agli MTV Video Music Awards 2016, non è andata male nemmeno ad Adele sono 6 per la cantante inglese campione d’incassi, ecco che a lasciare tutti stupefatti è l’assenza di Taylor Swift che solo 12 mesi fa era stata la regina assoluta con ben 4 statuette.
Naturalmente il riconoscimento più atteso è quello per il Video of the Year 2016. A contendersi l’ambito Moonman agli MTV Video Music Awards 2016 saranno Adele con Hello, Beyoncé con Formation, Drake con Hotline Bling, Justin Bieber con Sorry e Kanye West con Famous, il video sicuramente più discusso di questa estate 2016.
